Red Rock Hiking Q&A

No. The Calico Vista hike is suitable for beginners. The Full Day Explorer requires moderate fitness – you should be able to walk 6 miles with elevation gain.

Hikes proceed unless there is lightning. Rain rarely lasts long. We provide ponchos if needed.

Yes, on request. We have a limited set of trekking poles included free.

Only service animals allowed on guided hikes. Leashed pets are not permitted due to park regulations.

October to April offers mild temperatures. Summer hikes start at 6 AM to avoid heat.
