Pickup at your hotel between 12:30 and 1:00 PM. Drive via Pahrump.

Brief stop at the visitor center (restroom) and drive to Artist's Drive.

Arrive 45 minutes before sunset. Watch the golden hour over the badlands.

Death Valley Tour Questions

We avoid extreme heat by operating only October through May. Temperatures during our tour are moderate (60-80°F at sunset).

Layers! It can be warm in the valley but cold after sunset. Closed-toe shoes, jacket, and hat recommended.

Approximately 12 hours from pickup to drop-off. The drive each way is about 2.5 hours.

Absolutely. The Private Expedition includes a guide who can help with settings. DSLR or mirrorless recommended.

We monitor forecasts closely. If heavy clouds obscure the stars, we focus on sunset and geology and offer a partial refund.
